Schedule of 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The normal fee depends on the distance because the local taxis do not use meters. The fees inside Guaymas or San Carlos is between $30 and $50 pesos. From Guaymas to San Carlos and vice versa the fee is about $150 pesos.

The Guaymas airport is 10 minutes from San Carlos. The taxi union at the airport has set their fares to a standard rate of $30.00 US (300 pesos to be exact) from the airport to the hotels in town. Car rentals at the Guaymas airport available for about 700 pesos a day ($70.00).
Budget Car Rental and Hertz have local offices. You can catch the San Carlos bus for 070 cents (7 pesos). It shows up at the airport every hour and will take you into Guaymas where you get off at Ley Shopping Center and can catch a bus back to San Carlos for 9 pesos ( .90 cents)- not recommended If you have more luggage than you can carry on your own!.

What type of clothing should I take to Guaymas? Appropriate packing will of course vary on the time of year you travel to Guaymas, Mexico. Winter time in Guayas can be quite chilly, so bring sweaters and light jackets. There is very little rain throughout the year, so no need for umbrellas. When it does rain, most likely July or August, it falls in short, heavy bursts, just like it does in southern Arizona. In Summer, the high temperatures are accompanied by high humidity, so drink a lot of water! During the rest of the year, especially in winter, it is absolutely beautiful. All in all, Guayas is the place to enjoy all types of fun and exciting activities.
